Thank you for joining or considering to join the GDS plus Supporter Club! Your support helps fund the ongoing development of the GDS editor tool and my creative projects. Please carefully read the following terms and conditions before signing up. By becoming a GDS editor supporter, you acknowledge and agree to these terms:
1. Purpose of Membership
GDS Plus is a supporter program that supports the ongoing development of the GDS Editor, the GameDeveloperStudio.com website, and related digital tools and assets. Your monthly or yearly membership pledge is not a subscription to a commercial software service (SaaS), and no warranties or guarantees of availability are provided. GDS Plus is a Patreon-style, crowd-funded campaign to help bring a simple, flexible tool into the world.
2. Activation period
Payments processed through the Stripe payment processor are updated automatically, usually instantly. However, GDS Plus will not activate until the first payment is received and secured.
Legacy PayPal and Patreon payments
For previous GDS plus supporters who supported via Patreon or Paypal and wish to rejoin the average activation wait time is about one hour but please allow up to 24 hours for account activation after sign-up. Although not ideal, I haven't yet fully incorporated PayPal recurring payments, and Patreon does not offer a fully integrated solution for connecting accounts programmatically.
Please feel free to contact me anytime to request a status update on your account activation. If your account has not been activated after 12 hours, please reach out.

Support is offered to those making payments. Any payment issues are usually resolved within 24 hours. For issues relating to payments, renewals, or cancellations, you must reach out via the site's contact form on your account page, the site’s support email at support@gamedeveloperstudio.com, the site's Discord channel, or via private message on Discord.
3. Membership Benefits

4. Your Understanding
Please be aware that the GDS Editor tool, the Game Developer Studio website, and all associated digital assets are developed and maintained by a solo developer. While every effort is made to provide a stable and high-quality experience, no guarantee can be offered that the site, its tools, or the editor will always function without issues. As with any complex software, you may occasionally encounter bugs, errors, or temporary service interruptions.
You acknowledge that this is not a “software as a service” package. Any payment made is a voluntary contribution in support of development and is made wwithout guarantee, express or implied. By supporting, you also understand and accept that services are provided within the reasonable limits of what a solo independent developer can provide.
5. My communication with you
Due to my workload, there may be times when I am focused heavily on developing new features or creating assets, making it challenging to provide frequent updates. Most announcements are made on the website's Discord server. Direct or batch emails and posts to members are rare. However, please rest assured I am constantly working very hard to improve the editor and its associated resources. If you have any concerns, feedback, or questions about your membership, please don't hesitate to contact me. I value your input, especially if you’ve been actively using the tool.
6.Payment Terms
By opting into a recurring payment, you authorize monthly / biannual/ yearly contributions to GDS Plus until you cancel. Management and Cancellation of recurring payments made using Stripe checkout can be done through your account page on site. Legacy recurring payments made via Patreon or via paypal must be done directly through the respective service you used to set it up (e.g., via your PayPal or Patreon account).
No additional fees beyond the listed amounts are applied, although your payment provider, bank or card issuer may impose processing fees, taxes or foreign exchange charges.
If a payment failure occurs during the sign-up process and your account is not updated automatically yet funds have been deducted from your bank/issuers account you must contact GDS support immediately.
Legacy accounts signing up with recurring payments via PayPal or Patreon must be manually confirmed. Please allow up to 24 hours for your supporter status to be activated.
Your supporter benefits will remain active until the end of your period of support. Failure to complete a scheduled payment, cancellation of a recurring pledge, or reversal of payment may result in the suspension or termination of your supporter benefits.
Failure to complete payment, reverse a payment, or initiate an unauthorized or false dispute may result in the immediate suspension or revocation of all supporter benefits. If a payment is reversed or refunded, you will immediately lose any license to use digital assets you acquired at a discounted rate or for free through your supporter plan.
All payments are final. GDS Plus support memberships are support contributions and are not eligible for refunds or partial credit.
7. Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your support at any time. Benefits will remain active until the end of your billing cycle. Once canceled and your billing cycle ends you will no longer have access to exclusive features, discounts. If you cancel your membership and you wish to rejoin you may rejoin here anytime.
8. Missed and Failed Payments
If you have an active GDS Plus membership and your payment is declined by the payment processor (Stripe, Patreon, PayPal) due to card expiration, cancellation, or bank rejection, your membership will automatically cancel at the end of the current billing cycle if payment cannot be completed.
If you wish to reactivate your subscription after cancellation, you can do so by starting a new pledge.
If the pledge price has changed since your previous membership and you want to maintain your original pledge price, please make contact through the usual onsite contact methods. Previous pledgers are eligible to keep their original pledge price for up to one month following a failed payment or cancelled recurring payment.

While every effort is made to keep the GDS Editor, GDS Tools, and supporter features accessible, uninterrupted service cannot be guaranteed. Access may be temporarily suspended or limited due to maintenance, technical issues, updates, or unforeseen circumstances. No liability is accepted for interruptions, loss of access, or data unavailability. Supporter features are provided as a gesture of appreciation and are not part of a guaranteed commercial service. In the event of temporary unavailability, no refunds or time extensions will be provided. Reasonable steps will be taken to restore access as promptly as possible, and significant outages may be communicated via the website or email when applicable.
11. Reward Structure and conditions
Free assets, discounts, and extended offers are clearly noted on the site. However, all rewards are subject to change over time.
Supporters are thanked for voluntarily contributing to the development of the GDS Editor and its tools and assets. This support is symbolic and does not entitle the user to co-ownership, profit-sharing, or influence over the direction or development of any part of the GDS Editor, its tools, or assets.
The crown emblem represents appreciation for your support. However, the design and placement of the icon may change at any time or be removed temporarily or permanently at my discretion. No functional benefit is tied to the icon.
Supporters may receive discounts ranging from 1% to 100% on select digital assets. Many items may be offered as “free to supporters” (100% discount). Discounts are applied at my discretion and may vary per item. Free items may be time-limited or removed from the store without notice. Not all assets will be discounted. Prices and availability are subject to change.
Time-limited offers (e.g., "flash offers") may be extended for supporters by an additional 1–2 weeks, where applicable. Not all offers will qualify for extension. The extension period is set at my discretion and may vary. Once a flash offer is set, it will always be honored for at least the advertised end time, or longer.
Supporters may unlock exclusive features or tools within the GDS Editor.Like GDS editor core these tools are experimental, in development, and may be unstable or subject to change. Availability is not guaranteed and may depend on future updates. I reserve the right to add, change, or remove tools without notice. There is no guaranteed timeline for updates or new feature releases. More details about editor usage and conditions can be found here.
Supporters may receive access to internal GDS asset libraries (such as the Essentials Library, Texture Library, or Free Library). Library contents are subject to change at any time. Assets may be added, removed, renamed, or modified without notice. No guarantees are made regarding the availability of any particular item. Library access and availability may be limited, interrupted, or discontinued at any time.
Planned features and improvements for the GDS Editor may be made available early or exclusively to supporters. However, roadmaps are not commitments. Feature availability depends on development capacity and is not guaranteed. All timeframes are estimates only and may shift.
These rewards are offered in appreciation of your support and are not part of a purchased software package. I reserve the right to modify, pause, or remove any reward or benefit at any time without notice.
11. Asset Release Structure & Schedule
Supporter benefits such as access to new assets, discounted items, or exclusive content are provided on an “as-completed” basis. There is no fixed release schedule or guaranteed timetable for future asset updates, additions, or discounts. While new materials and features may be introduced from time to time, their availability depends on development progress, workload, and other factors. Supporter contributions help make continued development possible, but they do not entitle users to a minimum number of releases or updates within any specific timeframe.
12. Termination of Supporter Access
I reserve the right to suspend or terminate your GDS Plus supporter status at any time if you violate site rules, engage in abusive behavior, attempt to exploit the rewards system, or otherwise breach these terms. Termination may also occur in response to reversed or disputed payments.
13. Termination of GDS plus supporter program
The GDS Plus supporter program may be paused, modified, or discontinued at any time. In the event of permanent discontinuation of the program, prorated refunds for any remaining time in an active support block or recurring pledge may be issued at the sole discretion of the developer. Temporary interruptions or adjustments to features or benefits do not qualify for refunds or credits.
14. Changes to These Terms
these terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in service, legal requirements, or our policies. Continued use of the GDS Editor or GDS Plus after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. You are encouraged to review this page periodically.
15. Your GDS Plus Supporter Account
GDS Plus supporter accounts operate under the same conditions as standard (non-Plus) GDS accounts. You can read about general account conditions here, and how your data is handled in the Privacy Statement. For details and terms on your use of GDS Editor and GDS Tools, please consult GDS Editor Terms and Conditions. For information about how you may use library assets or any free assets made available to you, please refer to the site's standard License.
